During our stay at Private Rooms all En-Suite in Helmsdale, we were pleasantly surprised by the numerous family-friendly activities available in the area. As we explored the fascinating archaeological sites and historic monuments of northern Sutherland and Caithness, we were amazed by the remains of over 5000 years of human activity still scattered around the landscape. It was a great learning experience for our children and sparked their curiosity about history. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Emigrants' statue in Couper Park, where the Helmsdale Highland Games are held every August. It was a wonderful opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and traditions. As a family, we also enjoyed cycling around the picturesque village and soaking in the beautiful scenery. Irene, who has completed a furniture making course in Maine, USA, was particularly impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the en-suite rooms. Overall, our stay at Private Rooms all En-Suite was a delightful experience, and we would highly recommend it to other families looking for a memorable holiday in Helmsdale.
